Job Summary

Responsible for planning, developing, and delivering training and performance programs for company businesses. Supports company team members on training and performance standards. Supports the needs of the Company businesses, implement training, development, performance, and succession plans.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • In consultation with subject matter experts, assess business needs and design and develop diverse training content and implementation strategies that incorporate adult learning principles
  • Including but not limited to instructor and participant materials such as: presentations, instructor manuals, study guides, exercises, activities, assessments, handouts, eLearning, videos, audio, simulations, role plays, games etc.
  • Build e-learning products using instructional software, primarily the Articulate 360 suite, ensuring product meets industry standards for instruction, interactive online instruction, and instructor led training (i.e., Microsoft Suite, Adobe Suite, Articulate Storyline, Web 2.0, LMS, etc.)
  • Follow and communicate instructional design processes; tailoring design based on input from learners and subject matter experts
  • Support maintenance of existing training assets by partnering with LMS administrator and business partners to update content, drive the review and approval process
  • Create technically written standard operating procedures and guidance documentation supporting training. Ensure training materials reflect content in department manuals.
  • Support the training needs for newly opened, converted, and franchise sites
  • Assist in coordinating and facilitating instructor led training (ILT) classes at the training center or other designated locations
  • Continually seek opportunities to enhance personal development in training skills, technology advances, and people skills
  • Lead projects that have multiple resources and deliverables
  • Complete projects relating to improved learner performance including but not limited to onboarding, training, and performance platform efficiencies, content development
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Required or acceptable job-related experience; instructional design, training and development and / or organizational development preferred.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office365 software.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop instructionally sound content.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing projects and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Must be a self-starter, can work independently and well within a team environment.
  • Flexibility in schedule to accommodate live and virtual training events.
  • Must have an agile work ethic, ability to manage multi-step procedures, handle interruptions in workflow and prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, strong and sound decision-making ability, and excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Field travel required via automobile and/or airplane approximately 10% of time.
