Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Motel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our motel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management and a passion for providing exceptional guest services. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the motel, managing staff, and maximizing revenue while maintaining high standards of service.
Duties
- Oversee all aspects of motel operations, including front desk management, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Manage revenue through effective pricing strategies and occupancy optimization.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing outstanding customer service and addressing any concerns or complaints promptly.
- Conduct night audits to ensure accurate financial reporting and maintain records of daily transactions.
- Develop and implement budgets, monitor expenses, and identify areas for cost reduction.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate staff performance to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the motel and increase visibility in the local area.
- Utilize multilingual skills to cater to a diverse clientele effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel management is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of revenue management techniques and budgeting processes.
- Excellent guest service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences for guests.
- Ability to perform night audit duties accurately and efficiently.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with guests from various backgrounds.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of operations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
