Purpose and function of job :
The Prep works under the supervision of the Food and Beverage Supervisor and Food and Beverage Manager providing prompt, excellent food and beverage service to customers and ensuring 100% guest satisfaction. The Prep performs all job tasks in compliance with the philosophy, policies, goals, and budget of Traverse City Baseball, Inc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Essential duties and responsibilities of this job classification :
- Provide excellent customer service to all guests.
- Preps food and beverage items as assigned by supervisor.
- Assists in opening of the stand which includes stocking area, prepping food, and helping supervisor with any projects that need to be completed.
- Assists other cooks and grillers in tasks to ensure enough food is prepared to meet the needs of a large audience of guests.
- Takes cooked products and prepares the food for service by placing it in the proper serving vessels.
- Checks inventory levels on hand and communicates to supervisors when menu items or products are running low.
- Be aware and offers assistance to guests as needed.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of menu items and knowledge of all ballpark concession products.
- Keeps work area clean and organized throughout the event.
- Complete closing duties such as cleaning, washing dishes, sweeping floor and mopping.
- Organize the kitchen and storage rooms, keeping it clean.
- Other duties as assigned.
