Overview

TRC is seeking highly motivated and diverse ESG Associate Interns for our Summer 2025 intern program. This is a paid full-time position. Anticipated duration will be from June through August 2025 (flexible). This position has the potential to transition into a Full-Time role upon graduation. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Project Managers and Team Leaders and partner with engineers, scientists, and technologists.

Responsibilities

Our ESG Associate Interns:

• Assist with ESG and Sustainability advisory projects focused on supporting clients to build their ESG programs
• Support ESG analyses, benchmarking, writing, and data management
• Write proposals and help author thought leadership, reports, and presentation materials
• Perform data entry, data management, data evaluation, and data present
• Support the preparation of reports, plans and specifications for client
• May work on field assignments as needed
• Will be supported by leaders, mentors and teammates
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as necessary
  
  

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Pursuing Bachelor or Associate Degree in Sustainability Management or related field
• Research experience related to energy efficiency, decarbonization, clean energy, clean transportation, technologies, or other related topics
• Interdisciplinary understanding of the energy efficiency, clean energy generation, energy management and climate change mitigation issues (e.g., science, engineering, or policy)
• Keen to learn more about the world of energy from the built environment perspective (consumption, generation, technology, the intersection with climate impact mitigation)
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Possesses solid technical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, detail orientated person
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Honest, fun, hard-working and ready to learn and grow

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range

USD $18.00 - USD $27.00 /Hr.
