Overview:
An expanding international company is looking for a skilled AutoCAD Systems Designer to join their Charlotte corporate office. Key Responsibilities:
- P&ID Creation & Maintenance: Develop and maintain P&IDs, Equipment Lists, Line Lists, and Instrument Lists.
- CAD Software Utilization: Use AutoCAD and MicroStation to design and develop P&IDs and PFDs.
- Process Enhancement: Customize and improve Intelligent P&ID processes to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards.
- Engineering Drawings: Convert conceptual sketches into detailed engineering drawings.
- Library Management: Manage and update symbols, attributes, and libraries according to project specifications.
- Accuracy & Integrity: Ensure the accuracy of P&ID drawings and maintain the integrity of the database.
- Collaboration & Reporting: Develop reports to support engineers and improve workflow efficiency.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work across departments to optimize solutions and reduce manual data entry.
- Software Integration: Collaborate with vendors to enhance software functionality and improve Intelligent P&ID integration.
- Ongoing Training: Stay current with software updates and training to maximize efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Excel, and Visual Basic.
- Strong technical writing, collaboration, and deadline management skills.
- Experience with AVEVA P&ID, AVEVA Engineering, and Database Management is preferred.
- 5 years of experience in a technical environment.
