Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automation & Process Optimization Engineer to drive efficiency, optimize automation tasks, and enhance manufacturing processes. This role involves analyzing key production challenges, identifying root causes of inefficiencies, and implementing smart automation solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with leadership, production teams, and cross-functional departments to ensure seamless operations, improved machine performance, and high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Optimization & Analysis:
- Identify root causes of process rejects, machine downtimes, and product defects.
- Develop and implement corrective actions to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Drive initiatives to achieve and stabilize target KPIs (OEE, CNQ).
- Automation & Continuous Improvement:
- Plan, initiate, and oversee automation projects to improve manufacturing processes.
- Test, propose, and implement innovative production processes and systems.
- Ensure all solutions meet operational, qualitative, and economic requirements.
- Project Management & Technical Leadership:
- Independently execute optimization projects to enhance production automation.
- Conduct change control procedures for technical and product-related updates.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including instructions, maintenance plans, and operating guidelines.
- Serve as a technical contact for internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
- Participate in key discussions related to GMS, SCRAP initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Software & Technical Expertise:
- Perform software-side source code reviews.
- Apply knowledge of various programming languages such as C, C , HTML, and flow language.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Automation Technology, Medical Technology, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in process optimization, mechanical engineering, or project management within a manufacturing environment (preferably in glass, pharmaceuticals, or a GMP-regulated industry).
- 2-3 years of experience in control technology with proficiency in reading and writing source code.
- 3-4 years of experience in manufacturing process analysis and optimization.
- 3-4 years of experience with IT applications.
- 4 years of experience communicating with all levels of management.
- 3 years of experience writing technical reports.
- 3 years of experience in project management and problem-solving.
- 2 years of experience presenting to large groups.
- Fluency in English is required.
Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
