As a Cost Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing and optimizing vehicle parts costs. Key Responsibilities
Material Cost Analysis
Calculate and track material costs for new and existing vehicles.
Analyze cost variances by vehicle and supplier.
Assess cost impacts from tariffs, raw materials, and labor.
Support pricing decisions with Procurement and Commercial teams.
Forecast procurement costs and evaluate cost impacts on profitability.
Investment Budget Management
Manage the tooling budget for new vehicle development.
Oversee tooling compliance.
Value Analysis & Cost Optimization
Track and report cost-saving proposals from buyers and suppliers.
Identify cost reduction opportunities through vehicle breakdown events.
Participate in cost optimization meetings.
Supplier Reconciliations
Oversee material cost re-evaluation reporting.
Manage SAP retro-processing and coordinate implementation with Finance.
Additional Responsibilities
Support cost-effective part localization.
Maintain organized documentation and processes.
Assist Purchasing Management with data reporting.
Handle other tasks as needed to support department goals.
