Parts Development Cost Management Specialist Job Summary

Parts Development Cost Management Specialist Key Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle-level material cost analysis and track cost performance against targets
• Analyze and report cost variances by vehicle model and supplier
• Evaluate the impact of raw material prices, tariffs, and labor on procurement costs
• Collaborate with internal teams to support pricing and sourcing strategies
• Manage tooling investment budgets and track asset capitalization
• Support and track Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) initiatives
• Oversee supplier cost reconciliations and coordinate SAP cost adjustments
• Use advanced Excel tools for reporting and analysis (pivot tables, formulas, dashboards)
• Work independently to deliver high-quality financial insights
• Assist with data collection and reporting to support purchasing and supply chain teams
  
  

Parts Development Cost Management Specialist Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in cost analysis, procurement, or supply chain
• Strong with numbers and passionate about data accuracy
• Advanced Excel proficiency required (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
• Independent and detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Automotive or manufacturing background is a plus
• Bilingual (English/Korean) is a bonus, not required
