Our client is a growing FinTech company situated in New York City that is building flexible, intuitive software that provides Private Equity investment managers with the benefits of automation including cost savings, efficiency gains and significantly reduced error rates.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
This person will be joining a small but impressive finance team. As such, candidates will need to be comfortable in an “entrepreneurial” environment, and have the willingness and desire to actively participate in all aspects of the business.
The Client is looking for a highly technical and experienced Fund Accounting Professional to bridge the gap between the business needs of potential clients in the private markets industry, and the technical capabilities of the Client’s software. This role requires deep industry expertise, specifically in fund management, strong communication skills, and a strategic mindset to deliver value to prospective and existing clients. The ideal candidate has a strong technical acumen and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver exceptional client experiences. You will conduct discovery, guide product improvements, and showcase the system's value through strategic demos and expert support.

This Could Be a Great Fit If You…
Have 7 years of experience in accounting for private equity funds, with hands-on experience at a private equity firm a plus.
Have an undergraduate degree in accounting or finance, with accounting preferred and CPA accreditation a plus.
Are an expert in Microsoft Excel and fund accounting systems (Yardi, Investran, etc.).
Have deep experience with complex investment structures and financial statements.
Have a passion for solving complex problems and applying your expertise to drive success.
COMPENSATION:
Annual compensation will be commensurate with the experience level of the candidate. Base Salary of $180,000 to $225,000. This position will also offer the ability to earn a meaningful amount of equity in the company. In addition, a competitive benefits package along with a flexible and family-friendly work environment.
