Your Role:
As the Director of Account Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales efforts by leading and managing a high-performing team. Your primary responsibility will be to drive revenue growth through strategic outbound and inbound sales initiatives, while ensuring exceptional customer experience and satisfaction.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Account Development Representatives (ADRs) to achieve individual and team targets.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic sales development plans to generate qualified leads and opportunities.
- Metrics and Reporting: Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead conversion rates, pipeline velocity, and revenue targets.
- Process Optimization: Continuously optimize sales processes and workflows to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to align strategies and drive cohesive go-to-market initiatives.
- Training and Development: Provide ongoing training, resources, and support to enable the team to succeed and grow professionally.
- Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform sales strategies and positioning.
- Customer Focus: Ensure a customer-centric approach in all sales interactions to build long-term relationships and drive customer loyalty.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience (7 years) in sales development, and in leadership roles (3 years) preferably in the MarTech or digital marketing industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing and leading high-performing sales teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive informed decisions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a track record of exceeding targets.
