Position Overview: As a Project Manager at Treasure Valley Electric, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and leading the execution of commercial electrical projects. You'll be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with electrical codes and regulations. This is a hands-on leadership position that requires exceptional project management skills, the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues, and the capacity to collaborate with both field teams and clients.
Your leadership will extend to managing project timelines, coordinating resources, and mentoring electricians on-site, including guiding apprentices. Familiarity with Procore for project tracking and management is essential to ensure efficient project workflow. Your expertise will help ensure projects run smoothly from inception to completion while exceeding client expectations.
Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience
Work Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6:30am - 5:00pm, with some overtime possibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage commercial electrical projects from start to finish.
- Collaborate with team members, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project execution.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and coordinate repairs as needed.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets using Procore.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to apprentices and other team members.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure the safe operation of equipment and tools.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress and completion within Procore.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in project management within the electrical field, with a strong preference for experience in a commercial setting.
- A degree or formal education in Construction Management or a related field is highly preferred to support your expertise in overseeing large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
- Proven experience in project management and leading teams.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications.
- Familiarity with Procore for project management and tracking.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
- OSHA 30 Hour Construction Certificate or willingness to obtain certification within 60 days.
- Must have a valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
- Must have own hand tools.
