Our company is currently seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team! Part-time to Full-time work is possible, depending on skill level. Bookkeeping entries in Quickbooks Online will occupy up to 50% of the time. The rest would be some AR and AP, along with file organization, telephone answering, interaction with customers and suppliers requesting information, and making payments. Most important will be keeping Quickbooks Online up to date, preparing, and examining financial records for our company.
A degree or comparable experience is a plus. Working knowledge of Quickbooks Online, Excel, Word, PowerPoint experience is a must. A welcoming persona that works well in a construction company is a plus.
This is NOT an entry-level position and requires significant experience.
Hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. We offer a company Medical plan (starting the 7th month of hire), ten paid days off per year (available beginning the 7th month), and six paid company holidays per year (starting upon hire as dictated by the calendar). The pay will start at $24.00 (higher with the right experience) plus a monthly bonus (up to $7500 per year), depending on company sales volume.

- Compute and record numerical data
- Check the accuracy of business transactions
- Perform data entry and financial administrative duties
- Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
- Strong knowledge of Quickbooks Online
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Strong organizational skills
- Familiarity with spreadsheets and PowerPoint is a plus
