What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Facilitator position at Treat Mental Health Tennessee?
The Group Facilitator will conduct and or facilitate all scheduled group activities. You will be responsible to document the participations and progress in the EMR.
1. Utilize knowledge and skills to provide group psychotherapy, meeting the patient’s treatment needs and requirements.
2. Document client progress/regression according to established policies and procedures in a clear, concise, timely manner.
3. Provide pertinent patient information to clinical team based on evaluation in group session interactions, to assist in the patient treatment process.
4. Demonstrate good communication skills.
5. Continue with educational courses and in-services training, per policies and procedures.
6. Respond positively to changing situations in the work setting.
7. Work as a team member, demonstrating maturity under stress and objectivity.
8. Perform in a professional manner and role models a positive image of mental health.
9. Demonstrate good communication skills.
10. Works in a safety-conscious manner which ensure the safe work practices are used in order not to pose a risk to self or clients in the workplace.
11. Complies with company policies and procedure and local, state, and federal regulations.
12. Meets with supervisor on a regular basis to assist in identifying and correcting problem areas and or improving services
13. Assist in developing aspects of treatment plans and treatment plan updates in collaboration with other treatment team members.
14. Effective time management.
15. Update knowledge of community resources on a continuous basis.
