Treatment Access and Services Center (TASC) has an immediate opening for a full-time Forensic Clinical Case Manager to work with inmates at the Berks County Jail System (BCJS). The successful candidate must possess a strong understanding of the disease concept of addiction, and be knowledgeable about substance use disorders, various levels of addiction treatment, and 12-step recovery. Bachelor's degree required. Bi-lingual skills a plus.
Responsibilities
- Conduct drug and alcohol assessments with inmates at the Berks County Jail System to determine the appropriate level of care per ASAM criteria.
- Work closely with the Adult Probation Office in managing referrals, assessment outcomes, treatment placement, and inmate release.
- Collaborate with the County Assistance Office to attain medical benefits prior to inmate release and treatment admission.
- Develop a strong relationship with drug and alcohol treatment providers and secure treatment admission and transportation prior to release.
- Maintain accurate statistical records and documentation of all inmate interactions.
- Maintain strict adherence to confidentiality and HIPPA regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
