Inpatient Substance Use Disorder Treatment

Salary: $28-$37 per hour

About Us: Mountain Gate Treatment Center is a reputable inpatient substance abuse/behavioral health care provider dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to individuals seeking recovery from substance abuse.

Our facility offers a supportive and nurturing environment where patients can find healing and regain control of their lives. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated nurse to join our team and contribute to the well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and supervision to patients
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical professionals.
• Monitor and assess patient health status, including vital signs and withdrawal symptoms.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide immediate interventions as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care, observations, and interventions.
• Draw labs and prepare lab requisitions.
• Inventory and log medications received to patient inventory.
• Ensure the safety and security of patients
• Foster a supportive and compassionate environment that promotes recovery and well-being.

Requirements:

• LVN (licensed vocational nurse)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in nursing, preferably in addiction treatment or mental health.
• Demonstrated knowledge of substance abuse and withdrawal symptoms.
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions during overnight shifts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude toward individuals in recovery.
