Position: Dispensary Sales Associate

Reports to: General Manager

Reporting to the General Manager, this position will be responsible for assisting customers, recommending products, and ensuring a positive and informative experience for all patrons. You must be self-motivated, passionate about the cannabis industry, possess excellent communication skills, and be committed to providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

· Greet and assist customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.

· Provide detailed information about various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories.

· Answer customer inquiries and address concerns with professionalism and expertise.

· Create a positive and comfortable atmosphere for patrons.

Product Knowledge:

· Stay informed about the latest cannabis products, strains, and industry trends.

· Educate customers on the effects, benefits, and usage of different cannabis products.

· Assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions based on their preferences and needs.

Sales and Transactions:

· Accurately and efficiently process sales transactions using the dispensary's point-of-sale system.

· Upsell and cross-sell products to enhance the customer's experience.

· Handle cash and maintain cash register accuracy.

Compliance:

· Adhere to all local and state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.

· Verify customer age and identification in compliance with legal requirements.

· Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Team Collaboration:

· Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a cohesive work environment.

· Communicate effectively with colleagues to share product knowledge and customer feedback.

Qualifications:

· Must be 21 years of age or older.

· Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment is preferred.

· Knowledge of cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods is highly desirable.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy

· Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is a plus

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to stand for extended periods.

· Lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

· Comfortable working in a cannabis dispensary environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
