Our client is one of the leading custom food manufacturers in the United States. Their focus is specifically on breadings & coatings, ingredients, flavors and seasonings for the frozen and prepared foods industry. They work with some of the largest brands out there and are now looking for a remote, field-based Regional Sales Manager in the Tri-State Area to work with key accounts and expand relationships.
Job Description:
- The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and growing a $25m book of business while also meeting GP targets
- The Regional Sales Manager will be working with food processors, restaurant chains and private-label brands to create custom products.
- The Regional Sales Manager must be comfortable working with R&D teams, conducting presentations and responding to RFPs to win bids on new products
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience selling food manufacturing services, ingredients or similar industry experience
- Results-driven with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and retaining customers.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US & able to pass a background check, driving check, and drug screen.
Location: This is an outside sales role covering the Tri-State Area where you will be driving to customers 4 days a week. Expected travel is 75% within the region attending industry tradeshows and events
