The New Product Development Engineering Intern will support the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for medical devices. The intern will have an introductory role into the engineering of new, modified and/or existing manufacturing operations in a clean-room environment.
Location and Compensation:
Located onsite in Delano, MN and pays $30/hr
Tasks and Responsibilities:
· Assist in the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for medical devices.
· Support the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and principles.
· Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve
manufacturing issues.
· Participate in the design and modification of manufacturing operations in a clean-room
environment.
· Conduct data analysis and report findings to support process improvements.
· Maintain accurate documentation and records of engineering activities in compliance with
regulatory standards.
Education and Experience:
Currently pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,
Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
Competencies:
· Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
· Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and principles, particularly in the
medical device industry.
· Ability to demonstrate adequate job knowledge to deliver a world-class performance
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to communicate clearly by conveying and receiving ideas, information, and
direction effectively
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Use of statistical analysis software
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
