As part of Trelleborg's global IT group, the IT Operations Specialist's role is to work with all facets of Trelleborg's business to bring innovative solutions to leverage a wide array of technologies. This person will provide PC, network, and system support to staff in their location as well as employees globally. The work completed by this person will directly impact Trelleborg's ability to meet customer needs as well as the ever-changing needs of our employees.
Job Duties :
- Troubleshoot setworks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operations difficulties.
- Interface with departments, technical vendors, and personnel to solve problems
- Create and maintain accurate documentation
- Implement preventative maintenance routines and schedule accordingly
- Participate in project planning, implementation, and documentation
- Receive user requests for assistance via helpdesk ticketing system and prioritize and resolve issues
- Maintain a broad knowledge of state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and systems as pertaining to job functions
- Consistently follow and enforce IT policies and procedures
