Position Summary:
The Cloud Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing cloud opportunities with super marketplaces such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, IBM Red Hat, and Google Cloud Platform. As a Cloud Operations Specialist, you will work closely with sales management, marketing, alliances, channel, regional account managers, and outside organizations to drive sales growth of our SaaS solutions through these marketplaces.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Work closely with account managers and sales leadership to coordinate and position Trend Micro SaaS solutions in super marketplaces.
Draft special terms and commercial terms for deals subject to review with sales operations leadership.
Coordinate the flow of information across multiple groups, such as Sales, Services, Legal, Revenue Accounting, Operations, and outside organizations to facilitate the deal process.
Provide guidance to account managers on deal structuring in a way that meets customers’ requirements, sets them up for maximum success, and maximizes total customer account value. Offer post deal support where necessary.
Participate in deal reviews with account managers and sales leadership as appropriate.
Ensure the account managers are selling the correct and latest mix of products, and using the correct SKUs for their deal purpose.
Facilitate the timely review and approval of deal proposals.
Own relationships with sales-supporting teams for day-to-day matters.
Collaborate with sales enablement team to build and deliver training.
Work hand-in-hand with business application, sales operations, and finance teams to facilitate automation and the scaling of SaaS solutions within the organization.
Assist operations and the organization in various analytical reporting.
Qualifications:
2-3 years preferred experience in security solutions and services with knowledge of structuring deals.
Proven track record of providing excellent customer service.
Proven ability to coordinate tasks for multiple personnel.
Demonstrate success in driving highest levels of Customer Experience.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Excel (plus other Microsoft suite products).
