What are the responsibilities and job description for the ID Project Specialist Assistant position at Trenton Area Soup Kitchen?
TASK feeds those who are hungry in the Trenton area and offers programs to encourage self-sufficiency and improve the quality of life of its patrons.
Position Summary:
The ID Project Specialist Assistant is responsible for data entry, documentation submission, meeting with clients, and filing of information pertaining to the ID Project and the clients it serves. This position will work closely with case management staff and community organizations. This is an hourly paid, full-time position.
Responsibilities:
o Assist with data entry, appointment scheduling, taking appointments, submitting requests via email for documents, clerical duties such as filing hard copy documents.
o Assist with planning and documentation for mobile MVC events.
o Pick up documents from other agencies.
o Represent TASK in the community when needed.
o Assist with gathering data to articulate program accomplishments and successes.
o Perform basic intake with people seeking ID and complete a plan as to what the individual may need/be able to obtain.
o Other related duties as requested by the ID Project Specialist.

· Ability to work both independently and as member of a team.
· Ability to read and speak appropriately to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
· Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and abilities, including individuals with mental illness.
· Ability to assess situations that might require de-escalation or mediation.
· Strong attention to detail.
· PC skills, particularly WORD and EXCEL
Participate in full agency administration:
- Other related duties as requested by the CEO, or Social Services Coordinator.
Required Credentials:
· High School Diploma.
Compensation:
$20.00/hour
Schedule:
· 38 hours per week Monday through Friday, schedule to be determined.
Special Circumstances:
· Attendance may be required at meetings and special events, including occasional evenings, holidays, or weekends.
