Reports to: Building Principal
Supervises: Students in the Building
Goal: To establish and maintain a safe, orderly environment conductive to the educational
process.
- Act as building administrator in the event of administrative absences.
- Attend and supervise school activities, athletics and events.
- Handle student discipline issues.
- Supervise detentions.
- Attend all necessary meetings.
- Complete all necessary reports and paperwork.
- Serve as an official representative of the building.
- Execute all policies, rules and regulations adopted by the Board.
- Make decisions for the best interests of the District and within Board policies and CSIP objectives.
- Promote positive relations between the building, district, School board and community.
- Work to achieve district goals adopted by the Board.
- Establish and maintain a positive learning climate in the building.
- Maintain active relations with students, staff, parents and community.
- Assist with teacher in-service.
- Assist with emergency drills.
- Cooperate with agencies and institutions.
- Other duties as singed by Supervisor, Superintendent and/or Board.
Terms of employment: Contract to be established by the Board.
Evaluation: Annually by the Superintendent and Building Principal in accordance with
policy.
