OR Circulator RN – Hammond, LA
About the Role:
As an OR Circulator RN, you’ll be responsible for managing all necessary care inside the operating room, ensuring a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for both the patient and surgical team. You’ll serve as a liaison between surgeons, anesthesiologists, and staff—helping the team work in unison while advocating for patient safety and seamless intraoperative care.
Position Details:
Location: Hammond, LA
Shifts: 9-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe and efficient surgical environment
Coordinate with the OR team to ensure smooth procedures
Act as a patient advocate throughout intraoperative care
Assist anesthesiologist and CRNA with administering medications and monitoring patient’s vitals
Ensure compliance with documentation and safety protocols
Monitor overall operations of the OR to ensure things run smoothly
What You Need:
Active RN License (Louisiana)
1 year of recent Med/Surg experience
BLS(AHA)/ACLS Certification
Current TB reading (within the last 12 months)
Covid-19 Vaccine/Booster Records
Copy of ACLS/BLS
Proof of Immunity Records
Work Location: Hospital setting
