About the Role:
As a Med/Surge RN, you’ll be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients, before and after surgical procedures, including assessment, medication administration, monitoring vitals, and patient education, while coordinating with the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and manage medications
Assist physicians with exams and procedures
Coordinate patient care and supervise delegated tasks
Maintain accurate EMR documentation
Wound Care
Ensure patient readiness for pre-operative and post-operative discharge & education
Act as Charge Nurse when needed
What You Need:
Active RN License (Louisiana)
1 year of recent Med/Surg experience
BLS(AHA)/ACLS Certification
Current TB reading (within the last 12 months)
Covid-19 Vaccine/Booster Records
Copy of ACLS/BLS
Proof of Immunity Records
Work Location: Hospital setting
Job Type: PRN
