Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Quality Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing and analysis. You will work closely with developers and project managers to identify issues, enhance product performance, and contribute to the overall success of our projects.
Duties
- Conduct various types of testing including unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure software meets specified requirements.
- Utilize MySQL for database validation and data integrity checks.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and assist in the creation of test plans.
- Document test cases, test results, and defects using TFS (Team Foundation Server) for tracking purposes.
- Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by providing feedback on quality metrics and improvement opportunities.
- Utilize tools such as Eclipse for executing automated tests and reporting outcomes.
- Assist in maintaining QA documentation and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with QA/QC processes and methodologies is essential.
- Basic understanding of Java programming language is preferred.
- Experience or coursework involving system testing, user acceptance testing, and unit testing is advantageous.
- Knowledge of MySQL for database queries is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to identify defects effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $28.59 - $30.31 per hour
