Senior Project Manager - Material Handling Systems
TREW is a provider of Automated Equipment, Control Systems and Warehouse Execution Software. As a Project Manager at TREW, you will lead project teams for the continuing care and attention to our clients from the sales process, through design, implementation and acceptance. The TREW Project Manager is the primary point of contact for the client. You will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the scope and budget and meet client expectations. You are responsible for coordination and communication with project teams to complete multiple projects on time, within scope and budget. Project teams include the client, electrical and mechanical designers, software programmers, manufacturing, vendors, electrical and mechanical installation teams and integrator partners. Project Managers oversee all aspects of the projects, set deadlines, generate and maintain schedules, monitor and report progress to management.

Your Specific duties as a project manager will include:
- Managing the transition from sales to project
- Conduct project kickoff meetings
- Transfer as-sold information to the project team and into the project cost tracking system
- Review project contract requirements
- Generate the project schedule
- Meet with engineering managers to assign resources
- Work with the client, project teams and integrator partners to establish project milestone, billable deliverables, set expectations and contain the project scope
- Managing Project Activities
- Issue and manage vendors & subcontracts
- Conduct regular project design review and status meetings
- Report project status and budget performance to management
- Attend weekly staff meetings
- Process change order documentation, submission and approval
- Visit project sites to meet with the customer and project team, get status updates, coordinate activities and provide direction
- Project Completion
- Generate implementation, testing and go-live plans
- Manage as-built documentation completion and delivery to clients
- Conduct post project review and turnover to customer support
Experience with:
- Material Handling Equipment Systems and Implementation
- Electrical and Mechanical Installation
- Familiar with computer software, hardware, communication networking
- Auto-CAD and Auto-CAD electrical
- Microsoft Office
- Excellent client follow-through skills
- Flexibility to travel around the country and Canada, via air approximately 25-35% travel
- Ability to pass background and drug test
- Hold a valid US driver's license
