Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Dental Lab Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in creating high-quality dental prosthetics and appliances that help patients restore their smiles and improve their quality of life. You'll work closely with dental professionals to ensure all cases are crafted with precision, function, and aesthetic excellence.
Qualifications:
- Previous lab experience preferred, but open to training the right candidate
- Familiarity with dental materials, tools and terminology
- Ability to read dental prescriptions and interpret doctor’s instructions
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage time effectively
- Comfortable working in different areas of the lab when required (ie checking in cases at shipping/receiving but also scanning cases in CADCAM department)
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and check in cases from dental offices, carefully reviewing prescriptions and logging all materials and case details—strong attention to detail is essential.
- Manage digital case check-ins, including downloading intraoral scans and preparing files for the design phase. CAD/CAM experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right candidate.
- Scan physical cases to prepare them for digital design; prior design experience is highly valued and considered a major asset.
- Nest and mill designed cases, ensuring precision and efficiency throughout the digital workflow
- Prioritize and manage your case workload effectively, ensuring all cases are completed on time and according to their due dates. Staying organized and maintaining a smooth workflow is essential
