THIS JOB INVOLVES PROVIDING ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE TO AN INDIVIDUAL. THE PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE MANAGING SCHEDULES, ORGANIZING MEETINGS AND EVENTS, HANDLING CORRESPONDANCE, MAKING TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS, AND MAINTAINING RECORDS AND FLES. ADDITIONALLY, THE ASSISTANT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CONDUCTING RESEARCH, PREPARING REPORTS, HANDLING VARIOUS TASKS, ANSWERING PHONE CALLS AND EMAILS. THIS ROLE REQUIRES EXCELLENT ORGANIZATIONAL AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS, AND THE ABILITY TO MULTITASK. AN ASSISTANT SHOULD BE PROACTIVE, DETAIL-ORIENTED, AND CAPABLE OF WORKING INDEPENDENTLY WITH MINIMAL SUPERVISION. COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE IN WORD AND EXCELL IS REQUIRED.
