Real Estate Accountant

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical REAL ESTATE ANALYST to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance and accounting, with a focus on Real Estate investments and market analysis. This role is essential for providing insights that drive strategic decision-making within the organization. The REAL ESTATE ANALYST will be responsible for evaluating property performance, conducting financial modeling, and assisting in the preparation of reports that support investment strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct thorough market research to identify trends and opportunities in the real estate sector.
• Analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports on property performance, including cash flow analysis and return on investment calculations.
• Assist in the development of financial models to support investment decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional models to support investment decisions.
• Prepare presentations for stakeholders that summarize findings and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
• Support the accounting team with tasks related to general ledger accounting, payroll, and bank reconciliation.
• Mentor junior analysts by providing guidance on best practices in financial analysis and reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial concepts
• Experience with cash flow analysis and financial statement preparation
• Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes
• Familiarity with financial report writing and interpretation
• Ability to apply double entry bookkeeping principles effectively

PREFERENCE:

• Bilingual (Proficient in ENGLISH and HINDI)
