Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Leader to design, develop and implement strategic plans for the organization in a cost-effective and time-efficient manner. The Executive Director (ED) serves as the leader of the agency overseeing all day-to-day operations and ensuring consumers are receiving exceptional care. As a liaison with staff, consumers, families, contractors, providers and the LME/MCO's. This position must communicate effectively, exercise patience and understanding, and quickly resolve problems and conflicts that arise daily. The ED thrives on providing a high level of customer care and leading a strong team of programs leads.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify needs for, develop, modify, and maintain team policies, procedures, and other guidance documents, including incorporating best practices and addressing changes
- Disseminate, implement, and enforce organization and team standards, policies, and procedures, including providing proper guidance to those carrying out related duties.
- Participate in annual budget process, collaborating with program and administrative teams to recommend most effective, and efficient use of organization’s resources.
- Develop and execute plans and strategies to fulfill programmatic outcomes.
- Deliver results by maximizing organizational effectiveness and sustainability.
- Ensure that people have the support and tools they need and that the workforce as a whole.
- Assess programming and infrastructure to recommend where resources (e.g., funds, talent, partnerships) are needed to close gaps across departments and program areas to maximize overall effectiveness.
- Collaborate with staff colleagues, leadership, community partners, and other stakeholders to address issues, coordinate activities, and resolve problems or programmatic matters that impact multiple areas to ensure a consistent and coordinated effort and message.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Director and/or Program Directors to advise Quality Management and leadership team in reviewing programmatic goals and ensuring departments are tracking and focusing on their identified outcomes and measures of the Strategic Plan.
- Analyze programs to evaluate the performance of the organization and its staff in meeting objectives, determine areas of potential cost reduction, identify opportunities to strengthen cross-departmental planning and implementation.
- Ensure programmatic goals are achieved through follow up, coordination, and troubleshooting as needed with management colleagues. In collaboration with department directors, advise in developing programmatic budgets.
- Foster inclusive planning processes and facilitate effective communications across all teams, departments, and programs.
- Has the authority to commit the employer in matters that have significant impact.
- In consultation with the President, assume responsibilities of the in their absence.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree preferred business administration, behavioral and human services, healthcare administration, public administration
- A minimum of 5 years related experience in leadership/management, accreditation compliance in lieu of required degree with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience managing multiple site locations and programs within a LME/MCO environment strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of budgets is necessary.
- MBA, MHA or other related degrees will be considered in lieu of required management experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and adaptability to advances in telecommunication technology essential.

Communication skills:Oversee business plans and critical decision making so it is essential to communicate any new spending or initiatives to the management teams beneath the executive director.
Financial management skills: Managing a company’s budget is one of the most important duties for an executive director, who will oversee the accounting teams to ensure the budget is neat and organized.
Management skills: Lower-level management/program directors will report to the executive director, so having the interpersonal skills to manage multiple people with distinct work functions is an innate part of the job.
