Commercial Estimator/Project Manager

Job Description

General Description:

Secure commercial fence contracts, perform material ordering and site coordination, establish and maintain project schedules.

Experience:

Our ideal candidate must have previous commercial construction estimating/project managing experience and/or relevant degree. The candidate must possess extremely strong computer skills with prior experience using bidding software. Knowledge of appropriate sequence on multi-trade commercial project is imperative.

Qualifications – The Must-Haves:

• Valid driver’s license
• Minimum 2-year verifiable commercial estimating and/or project managing experience and/or relevant degree.
• Impeccable attendance and punctuality.
• Detail oriented, extremely organized.
• Maintain professional, clean appearance at all times.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, verbally and digitally.
• Highly proficient computer skills with bidding software and bid board experience.
• Capable of working independently at computer/desk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to read/understand blueprints and project specs.
• Ability to independently perform accurate material take offs from blueprints.
• Capable of performing in-person site visits and documenting accurate measurements and project requirements.
• Strong ability to navigate and maintain GC/Owner to sub-contractor relationship.
• Must be confident in ability to secure contracts outside of our current customer network.
