What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recovery Coach position at Tri-Cap?
Tri-Cap is a residential, private non-profit community corrections facility. As a Recovery Coach in this setting you will have a unique opportunity to work with individuals both new and old to sobriety, helping them to shape and form the mindsets and mentalities for success in living substance free. The ideal candidate will be able to successfully navigate and adapt to the often complex world of therapy and corrections, have strong moral and ethical guidelines, and most importantly stability in their own recovery.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Facilitate group and one on one sessions
- Transport clients to outside appointments (as needed)
- Assemble assigned group/class curriculum's (as needed)
- Assist with intake process and paperwork
- Respond to crisis/client needs
Requirements:
- CCAR Recovery Coach Academy/Ethics
- MDHHS Certified Peer Recovery Coach (If you do not have these certifications accommodations can be arranged for you to aquire them within the first 6 months after hire.)
- 2-5 years sobriety (preferred)
- Experience leading groups/classes (preferred)
- Must pass background check and drug screen
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Experience:
- Recovery coaching: 2 years (Preferred)
