What are the responsibilities and job description for the New Business Account Executive position at Tri-City Chili Peppers?
The Chili Peppers are the HOTTEST team in the Coastal Plain League, a summer wood-bat baseball league with teams in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. Plus, we are the innovators behind Cosmic Baseball, the newest sports entertainment concept that features baseball played under UV black lights.
We have a new professional position that will be a part of our sales team. This professional position has 4 primary areas:
- Seek out new ticketing leads to grow ticket plans sales and game attendance
- Responsible for sales of Tri-City Chili Peppers ticket inventory, including but not limited to season tickets, partial plans, and premium hospitality areas as well as servicing existing customers.
- Coordinate the interaction with fans, in-person and electronically, to gather feedback regarding their pre-game, in-game, and post-game experiences.
- Coordinate and/or attend community experiences to promote the Chili Peppers brand and increase sales
Responsibilities include:
- Seek out new leads in the community to grow ticket sales and attendance through online and in person methods.
- Build strong relationships to provide long-term relationships.
- Achieve monthly and yearly ticket revenue targets set forth by the supervisor.
- Provide excellent customer service to all existing and potential clientele.
- Update the CRM with all client notes.
- Professionally represent the organization at business and community functions.
- Perform game-day responsibilities including entertaining clients, completing ticket sales, gathering fan feedback and more.
- Communicate with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identify and suggest products and services to meet those needs.
- Demonstrate the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolve any issues that may arise post-sale.
- Utilize surveys, in-person interactions, emails and phone calls to gather and synthesize feedback and data to improve services and experiences.
- Attend community appearances for the Chili Peppers to set up a table/booth to promote the brand, inform the community, and sell tickets/merchandise.
- Maintain communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
- Perform other duties as assigned and willingness to work outdoors during Summer months.

- Proficient with Google applications or related software.
- Multilingual a plus, especially in Spanish.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Prior ticket sales experience
Compensation:
- Salary: $32,000

Commission Structure:
- 2% commission on all ticket plan sales 5% commission on group sales
