Tri-City Group is currently seeking a skilled and proactive Technical Infrastructure Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. As a Technical Infrastructure Administrator, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining client infrastructure components. Your expertise will contribute to the stability, scalability, and security of their systems.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Infrastructure Design and Implementation : Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to design and deploy infrastructure solutions, including servers, storage, networks, and cloud services. Configure and optimize hardware and software components for maximum performance and reliability.
- System Administration and Maintenance : Manage server environments (physical and virtual) across multiple platforms (Windows, Mac, etc.). Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance tasks. Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Network Management : Configure and maintain network devices (routers, switches, firewalls). Optimize network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure security protocols are followed.
- Cloud Services : Work with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to deploy and manage cloud-based infrastructure. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Security and Compliance : Collaborate with security teams to ensure infrastructure meets compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS, HIPAA). Implement security best practices, including access controls, encryption, and vulnerability assessments.
- Automation and Scripting : Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for infrastructure provisioning and management. Embrace DevOps practices to streamline deployments and updates.
- Capacity Planning and Scalability : Monitor resource utilization and plan for capacity growth. Scale infrastructure to accommodate business needs.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing : Maintain accurate documentation for infrastructure components, configurations, and procedures. Share knowledge with team members and contribute to the knowledge base.
- Collaboration and Project Participation : Work closely with cross-functional teams (development, operations, security) on projects and initiatives. Participate in technology evaluations and recommend improvements.
- Other duties may be assigned, as needed
