Start Date - July 01, 2025
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Associate’s Degree in a technology or related field required. Bachelor's Degree preferred
2. Software proficiency working with G-Suite, Google Apps for Education, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel
including Pivot Tables), Web 2.0 and Social Media Tools (Twitter, Facebook, Google , etc.), and
image/video editing tools
3. Database experience (i.e. setting up and supporting databases, coding templates, retrieving data, etc.)
4. Technology experience in an educational environment preferred
5. Experience leading technology teams preferred
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12-month position, 7.5 hours/day
REPORTS TO: Director or Designee
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
To provide vision, leadership and guidance in the development, implementation, and coordination of a strategic
technology plans and curriculum; enhance integration of technology learning objectives throughout the
cooperative’s programs; promote the effective use of instructional technology, supervise the cooperative’s
Technology Department and provide support for the operations systems of the organization’s computers and
networks, with the goal of providing a state of the art technology infrastructure and programming.
TECHNOLOGY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage, troubleshoot and maintain cooperative databases and website/social media accounts
2. Troubleshoot and assist in aggregating student/staff data within various databases.
3. Manage, troubleshoot and maintain all cooperative technology devices
4. Develop/maintain updated technology inventory, including a plan to rotate/dispose of outdated devices
5. Manage security systems including alarms, cameras, electronic doors and sign in systems
6. Develop/project multi-year technology plans and budgets
7. Read, understand, interpret and appropriately apply technical materials to operations of the organization
8. Develop/implement technology training
9. Stay informed and adhere to Illinois State Board of Education updates related to technology, including
assistive technology and state assessment requirements.
ORGANIZATION/MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Respond promptly and appropriately to all requests for assistance
2. Complete appropriate reports and records accurately and promptly
3. Participate in meetings to discuss and evaluate technology needs and practices of the organization
4. Provide supervision to Technology Department employees as assigned.

of equipment necessary to perform duties
