Purpose:
Partner with the family, including establishing a caring professional relationship and a climate of mutual trust and respect for the parents. Work with parents to strengthen the family's knowledge of child development, health, nutrition, community resources and support parents in problem-solving.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Family and/or Human Services, Social Work, or closely related degree.
- National Family Support Certification (required to obtain with the assistance of agency post-hire)
- No prior experience is necessary.
- Prefer two years of professional-level experience in specialty areas preferably in a social/family service environment.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suites & Database system
- Valid Iowa Drivers License & ability to be insured under agency policy
- Must be cleared & allowed to work in a childcare setting by the Iowa Department of Human Services
