Ensures deliverables meet SOW requirements Provides guidance to contractor team as needed

Serves as POC to the Government for the Contractor as well as an escalation point.

Creates and maintains the MS Project Schedule.

Tracks and manages risks to successful performance.

Required Skill Set

An undergraduate degree and over eight years progressive experience in leading projects including the use of MS Project to generate and maintain project schedules.

Demonstrated ability to provide guidance and direction for specific projects or subtasks.

Minimum three years experience managing risks including the determination and implementation of mitigation and contingency plans and / or strategies.

PMP Certification or Advanced Degree may be substituted for 3 years of work experience.

Proven capability to manage multitask projects of high complexity for Federal government clients.

Job Description

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our dynamic team in Arlington VA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing enterprise data management infrastructure and leading transformation projects for establishing enterprisewide data layers as well as fostering mature Data Ops practices.

Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage enterprise data management infrastructure efforts including overseeing onpremises systems and leading cloud migration initiatives.
• Manage database administration tasks ensuring referential / data integrity pointintime recovery and custom coding are successfully executed.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design implement and maintain complex data architectures that scale across a variety of platforms including cloud and onpremise systems.
• Demonstrate strong expertise in designing and supporting modern database technologies.
• Lead transformation initiatives focused on building an enterprisewide data layer.
• Oversee the implementation of Data Ops practices across teams to improve data quality consistency and deployment efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior staff and stakeholders regarding best practices for data architecture and management.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements while managing sensitive data.
