Job Overview:
The Assistant District Manager for our Georgetown, Delaware location is responsible for overseeing and supporting administrative and operational functions within the district and across Delmarva, ensuring the efficient delivery of services and meeting sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the service team and coordinate all service and installation projects for the Georgetown, DE district and assist other districts as needed.
- Support and ensure a safe culture within the organization. Work closely with the safety team to address any issues or concerns.
- Work closely with the District Manager on all areas of operation.
- Serve as liaison between office and operational personnel, resolving issues and improving efficiency.
- Ensure daily reports and tasks are completed on time.
- Address and resolve escalated customer service issues and complaints within the district.
- Monitor and assist in meeting monthly delivery and sales goals.
- Maintain terminal safety, appearance, and the upkeep of bulk plants and satellite offices.
- Participate in community activities to promote the district.
- Contribute to customer retention and growth by adding new gallons.
- Monitor and control district expenses in relation to profitability.
- Be accessible at all times via phone.

Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of successful leadership experience.
- Industry and or service and installation experience perferred.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of motivation.
- Proficient in using personal computers and office software.
- Ability to lead a team and make critical decisions.
- Professional demeanor when interacting with employees and customers.
- Familiarity with Service NFPA 58/54 standards and delivery degree days.
Working Conditions:
This role involves both office-based and fieldwork responsibilities. The position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. Fieldwork includes interacting with vehicles and service calls, with occasional exposure to fumes.
Physical Demands:
The employee must be able to sit, climb, balance, stoop, pull, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must occasionally lift or move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
