Body Shop Technician

Tri-Star Blairsville has an immediate opening for an experienced Full Body Shop Technician (No Paint Work). We are looking for an experienced and reliable individual to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Repairing all assigned vehicles according to manufacturer and company standards
- Restoring damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition, following the written order repairs
- Process repairs with efficient speed and quality customer satisfaction
- Approaches repair planning with a sense of urgency and detail to avoid waste and re-work later in the process
- De-trims and disassembles vehicles in a timely manner
- Performs pre-pulls to make repair vs. replace decisions
- Assists in identifying and sourcing parts as necessary
- Uses good judgement in determining when damaged parts can be safely repaired for cost and cycle-time savings
- Helps maintain parts/materials in an organized manner
- Other duties as assigned by shop manager
Qualifications:
- High School or equivalent (Required)
- 1 year of Body Shop Tech Experience (Required)
- Knowledge of vehicle repair and parts is a major plus
- Knowledge of manufacturers’ repair processes
- Ability to lift, push, & pull over 50lbs
- Ability to operate mechanical tools safely
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background check
Pay is negotiable on experience!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
