Body Shop Technician

Tri-Star is opening a Body Shop in Indiana and Blairsville. These locations has an immediate opening for an experienced Full Body Shop Technician. We are looking for an experienced and reliable individual to join our EXPANDING team!
Responsibilities:
- Repairing all assigned vehicles according to manufacturer and company standards
- Restoring damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition, following the written order repairs
- Process repairs with efficient speed and quality customer satisfaction
- Approaches repair planning with a sense of urgency and detail to avoid waste and re-work later in the process
- De-trims and disassembles vehicles in a timely manner
- Performs pre-pulls to make repair vs. replace decisions
- Assists in identifying and sourcing parts as necessary
- Uses good judgement in determining when damaged parts can be safely repaired for cost and cycle-time savings
- Helps maintain parts/materials in an organized manner
- Other duties as assigned by shop manager
Qualifications:
- High School or equivalent (Required)
- 1 year of Body Shop Tech Experience (Required)
- Knowledge of vehicle repair and parts is a major plus
- Knowledge of manufacturers’ repair processes
- Ability to lift, push, & pull over 50lbs
- Ability to operate mechanical tools safely
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background check
Pay:
- Determined on experience
- Flat rate and hourly positions available
