Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of workers on-site, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely while adhering to industry standards and regulations.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction workers on-site.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Utilize construction management software such as HeavyBid for project tracking and reporting.
- Manage project scheduling to meet deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Oversee quality control measures to ensure that all work meets specified standards.
- Assist in construction estimating and budgeting processes to ensure project feasibility.
- Interpret schematics and blueprints to guide construction activities effectively.
- Communicate effectively with team members, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
Skills
- Need to be able to operate GPS equipment & run excavators & doziers
- Proficient in using HeavyBid and other construction management software.
- Strong understanding of budgeting principles related to construction projects.
- Experience in project scheduling techniques to optimize workflow.
- Knowledge of quality control processes within the construction industry.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints accurately.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
