We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to oversee purchasing operations. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing / production purchasing experience and be highly organized, hands-on, and capable of managing the full procurement process.
Key Responsibilities :
- Negotiate competitive pricing and service terms with vendors to ensure optimal value.
- Develop and implement purchasing policies and maintain an up-to-date Preferred Vendor List.
- Source alternative suppliers and ensure vendor contracts are aligned with company standards.
- Review bids, award contracts, and monitor order progress, addressing any delivery challenges.
- Oversee blanket purchase orders, monitor budget compliance, and manage supply chain disruptions.
- Accurately process invoices and purchase orders, ensuring proper coding and documentation.
