We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our team, where you'll assist customers in choosing the perfect outdoor power equipment and ensure they have the right tools to get the job done, all while leveraging your passion for customer service and product knowledge to provide the best solutions for each customer. Typical hours are Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, with great pay - $50,000-$75,000 plus bonus based on sales.
Position Responsibilities:
- Contact prospective customers to determine customer needs, present product information, and explain available services.
- Meet with customers at store locations to conduct machine presentations and demonstrations.
- Present equipment, finance options, Complete all required sales documentation, sales proposals, including Purchase Agreements, Customer Sales Agreements and finance contracts.
- Use company provided systems/tools to fully document, track, record, follow-up and capture all related sales activity in a timely and accurate manner.
- Effectively understand manufacturers' programs and resources
- Respond to needs of walk-in customers.
- Collaborate with sales manager, marketing, to identify interested and qualified customers.
- Acquire knowledge of Tri State Bobcat equipment offering and competitive products in order to offer the best solutions based on customer needs, interests and concerns. Follow up on each sale to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Builds and maintains active prospect list
- Coordinate with customers and applicable departments ensuring timely delivery of product.
- Coordinate pickup and delivery of equipment as needed.
- Coordinate and/or conduct field demonstrations as well as operate machinery at customer location.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years inside sales or other sales experience preferred
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license required
- Personal characteristics: Strong customer service and communication skills, achievement oriented, planning / organization skills, problem solving, team player
- Demonstrates strong work ethic and acts with a sense of urgency
- Strong computer knowledge and ability to learn new systems quickly
