Responsibilities
- Elicit and document IT project requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams on project work.
- Produce requirements, test plans, test cases, user guides, and flow diagrams.
- Act as a primary tester for technology projects.
- Drive changes through the Change Approval Board.
- Assist with technical writing for design documents.
- Plan and implement new releases of business applications.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Optimize workflows and stay updated on business systems technology.
- Map requirements to commercial software products and assist in procurement.
- Develop estimates and cost-benefit analyses for projects.
- Lead planning for new releases of business applications.
- Contribute to standardized methodologies.
- Onboard, train, and mentor Business Analysts.
- Develop metrics to measure Business Analysis function success.
- Adhere to electric utility industry regulations and compliance.

Education and Training
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology or related area or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle.
- Experience with user requirements elicitation and documentation
- Effective communication and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Experience in technical writing, team coordination, and support of enterprise-wide applications.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word Excel, and Visio.
- Understanding of business analysis principles, processes, and techniques.
- Ability to develop and prepare use cases, functional specifications, and technical requirements.
- Flexible and adaptable in regard to learning and understanding new products or platforms.
- Excellent communications skills, both oral and written with ability to explain complex issues in clear, concise, persuasive language.
- Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
