Responsibilities:
- Review and process credentialing applications for healthcare providers
- Verify and validate provider credentials, including education, training, licensure, and certifications
- Conduct primary source verification of provider information
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider files and databases
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Communicate with providers to obtain missing or incomplete information
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in credentialing standards
Requirements:
- Previous experience in credentialing preferred
- Knowledge of credentialing processes, standards, and regulations preferred
- Familiarity with provider enrollment and revalidation processes preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficient in using credentialing software or databases
