Job Description
Tri-Supply is looking to fill a position for an Estimator for our growing Multifamily/Apartment Builder Sales department. This role will office out of our Temple, Texas location and will work directly with management and the sales team to provide material estimates and quotes for our multifamily/apartment builder clients.
Skills and Experience Needed:
- Extensive knowledge of estimating from blueprints for large residential multifamily/apartment projects.
- Review bid documents and perform quantity take-offs.
- Working knowledge of industry standards for welded frame fire doors
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to analyze options and detailed material specifications.
- Management of multiple projects.
- Ability to work under a deadline.
- Strong communication skills with ability to interact and communicate effectively with management, sales team, builders and architects.
- Thoroughness and detail oriented.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ ground-up construction or estimating in multifamily and/or commercial.
- Order, review and distribute bid documents and preform quantity take-offs.
- Learn and utilize our ERP software (DMSI Agility).
- Extensive knowledge of residential building material products and brands.
- Knowledge and use of estimating software like Buildertrend, Conconstruct, Stack, etc. is a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of state and local building codes.
