Tri Valley Plastic Surgery is an established and rapidly growing plastic surgery practice seeking an experienced Bilingual Patient Care Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about aesthetics, patient care, and sales.
As a key member of our practice, you will provide patient care support to our medical providers, while also serving as the primary point of contact for our Spanish-speaking patients interested in cosmetic procedures. Your ability to build trust, educate patients, and guide them through the treatment process will be essential to your success in this role.
Duties & Responsibilities
Patient Care & Medical Support
- Provide direct patient care, assisting providers with exams, procedures, and follow-ups.
- Measure vital signs (pulse, blood pressure, temperature), height, and weight.
- Perform specialized testing such as EKGs.
- Coordinate preoperative and postoperative care and provide patient education.
- Assist with prep work for surgeries and in-office procedures, including consents, post-op instructions, and registration forms.
- Measure patients for post-op garments.
- Check in/check out patients, schedule appointments, and answer incoming calls.
- Prepare doctor’s notes, disability, and FMLA paperwork for MD signature.
- Manage breast implant warranties and returns.
- Order and maintain medical and office supplies.
- Turn over exam rooms and set up for procedures.
- Support Patient Care Coordinators, physicians, PA-C’s, nurses, and front desk staff as needed.
Sales & Patient Coordination
- Serve as the trusted advisor for Spanish-speaking patients, guiding them through consultations, treatment options, and financing.
- Qualify leads and convert consultations into surgeries.
- Conduct one-on-one aesthetic sales, converting inquiries into scheduled procedures.
- Prepare and present quotes for in-office procedures and surgeries.
- Schedule surgical procedures, pre-ops, and post-ops.
- Provide exceptional service to ensure patient satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain and track leads using CRM software.
Qualifications
- Ability to speak and write proficiently in Spanish (REQUIRED)
- Experience in aesthetic sales, medical assisting, or a related healthcare field.
- MA certification is a plus
- Professional and engaging over the phone, via email, and in face-to-face consultations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly accurate and detail oriented with strong organization skills
- Familiarity with EMRs strongly preferred
