About This Role :
The Mid-Level Information Security Engineer is responsible for supporting our Department of Homeland Security (DHS) customer by reviewing their system toolset configurations to ensure they meet security standards and organizational policy. This position will assist our customer in complying with M-21-31 and Executive Order 14028, Improving the Nation's Cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity engineering and a proven ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
Responsibilities :
Conduct thorough reviews of customer toolset configurations to ensure compliance with security standards and customer organizational policies.
Conduct in depth enterprise configuration and logging reviews to ensure compliance with OMB M-21-31.

Strong working knowledge of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) toolsets, i.e. MS Sentinel.
