Position Summary:
The HR Generalist will be responsible for a variety of human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices and labor regulations, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding:
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting jobs, screening candidates, conducting interviews when needed, and onboarding new hires.
Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs.
Act as a trusted advisor for employees and managers, addressing workplace concerns and promoting a positive work environment.
Conduct investigations and resolve employee issues in compliance with company policies.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including OSHA standards.
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality.
Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, 401(k), and leave policies.
Assist employees with benefits questions and enrollment.
Qualifications:
3 years of experience as an HRGeneralist, preferably in manufacturing or a similar industry.
Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
