Job Summary:
The Quality Control Associate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and verifying the quality of store fixtures throughout the production process. This role involves working closely with production teams to identify any quality issues, recommend improvements, and maintain accurate documentation. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, has experience in quality control, and is committed to maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fixture Inspections: Conduct thorough quality inspections on store fixtures, including material quality, construction, finishes, and durability, to ensure they meet design and safety specifications.
- Monitor Production Process: Collaborate with production teams to monitor fixture manufacturing, flagging any quality concerns, and ensuring consistency with client specifications.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of inspection results, noting any deviations from standards, and work with production teams to address any issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, contributing to the enhancement of manufacturing practices and quality control standards.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all products meet safety standards required for retail use, staying updated on industry regulations and quality control best practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in quality control or manufacturing is preferred.
- Previous experience in quality control, ideally with a focus on store fixtures, furniture, or related products. (Wood, Metal, Wire, Signage, Powder-coating)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with quality control tools and inspection techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Salary : $55,000
